Requirements
Fishr.net is a social network for anglers in the UK. Members needed to manage fishery and angling club listings, upload photos and share their experiences.
Our approach
We wanted to create a truly unique design among angling websites as Fishr.net's concept really was one of a kind. The visual flair came from a series of custom designed icons in use throughout the website.
In order to reduce the barrier to entry for new users, Fishr.net allows them to use their facebook account to log in.
Technical Details
Built on the Cakephp platform with a MySQL backend.
